Chiddy Bang- F64
When I first heard Chiddy Bang I just thought the beats were crazy, but this kid can rap. Chiddy kills it on the freestyle.

Wale- Who Don’t (Feat. Fat Trel & Black Cobain)
Wale put this track up on his twitter a little over an hour ago and it features two fellow DMV artists to look out for. The track was made for the point guard of the Milwaukee Bucks, Brandon Jennings, to hype him up before games. It is definitely fire and it features a Lil Wayne sample as the chorus…Enjoy.

Theophilus London – Humdrum Town

Theophilus London is an up and coming artist out of Brooklyn that puts hip hop, electronic, soul and nearly every musical genre together to establish his own sound. “Humdrum Town” dropped in mid-November, but I just came across it for the first time and I like what I hear. It’s giving my ears something different to check out, and that’s definitely a good thing.

MGMT – Flash Delirium & Congratulations

MGMT is back with the upcoming release of their sophomore album, Congratulations. (which happens to out-do the Gorillaz new album for the most cracked out album art of all time) The band just released a couple of tracks from their new album, and so far their psychedelic, trippy reputation lives up to our expectations. Both “Flash Delirium” and “Congratulations” are entirely different from one another, and definitely aren’t in the same upbeat class as “Kids” or “Electric Feel”; the songs that made them the popular band they are today. “Flash Delirium” is tough to even attempt to describe, so I’ll just let your ears do it for you. “Congratulations” is a melodic slow-tempo jam…unlike anything I’ve heard from the band before. Both leaks are undeniably bizarre, but what can you expect from MGMT.

Joe Budden- New York Jersey Philly (Feat. Royce Da 5′9″)
I got this track from the two Slaughterhouse representatives and I like it a lot more then then original song, by Lloyd Banks “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley”. A hard track where Joe and Royce do what they do best and slaughter all the wack shit that happens in hip hop.

T.I.- I’m Back
So the day that Lil Wayne is put in jail T.I. releases his first track after being in jail and getting back into recording. Definitely more of a harder street single that reminds me of the T.I. who gave us “You Don’t Know Me” and “24’s”. I am excited to see what his new album will sound like, which is apparently coming out on August 24th. Enjoy..

Sam Adams – Heads Will Roll (Remix)

I’ve been holding off blogging about this kid since I posted “I Hate College”; I just couldn’t get a read on him. Some of his tracks I can’t take seriously… with others, there’s no denying his talent. I can’t lie about it, it’s a fact that the the kid from Trinity College is exploding right now. His 8 track EP has locked up the top spot on iTunes for the hip hop genre. Check this remix to the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Heads Will Roll” (not on the album) for a taste of his style. He’s playing the marketing game perfectly as well, as he’s got a college tour coming up that’s partnered with Barstool Sports. Like him or not, he’s making moves.
