Passion Pit – Sleepyhead

This jam’s not new by any means, but I’ve been stuck in a Passion Pit phase for a good 4 months now so I figured I’d share some knowledge with those that don’t know about them.  Pick up their first full cd, “Manners”, great from start to finish.  The band’s been gaining a lot of steam recently, so if you’re still out of the loop hit up “Sleepyhead” and join the party. Ratatat – Loud Pipes

Ratatat is an electronic music duo from Brooklyn.  They’ve been around for a while, but I just recently got into them. They feature on a song with Kid Cudi from his upcoming album… pick up their cd “Classics” for a taste of who they are.  Sweet music to completely zone out to. Asian Kid Not Phased By Fastball to the Face

Seriously??? Christ. This kid takes the equivalent of a 90 mph heater directly to the face and he could care less. It’s almost like he does this on a daily basis…wake up, eat breakfast, take a fastball to the face…they must work on this in Asian Little League practice. Tweet

Mike Posner

Mike Posner casually makes a ridiculous beat in his dorm room at Duke: Mike Posner’s about to explode.  He’s starting his senior year at Duke, just signed a record deal with J Records, and is gonna be huge.  It came out back in March, but pick up his mixtape A Matter of Time right here, it’s unreal.  He makes outrageous beats and kind of sounds like a bizarre, male version of Macy Gray…but it works.  Check his cover of ELO’s “Evil Woman”. While we’re still talking about Guetta…

When David Guetta and Kid Cudi get in the studio together, it’s gotta be borderline impossible to not come out with a hit…listen to ‘Memories’ off Guetta’s album “One Love”. [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Tweet

David Guetta is such a Legend

How the hell is this the face of the dude behind some of the greatest European club jams ever?  He’s a mirror image of the creepy guy working the register at Sears. Anyways, Guetta is getting ready to blow up on American soil, with his new cd “One Love” dropping this past Tuesday.  He’s clearly trying to be the next big thing in the states, working with artists like Kid Cudi, Ne-Yo and Akon on his new disc.  Check the soon-to-be frat anthem ‘Sexy Bitch’ (feat. Akon). [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Tweet

Ghostland Observatory – The Band Marches On

Just an epic jam all the way around…my cousin enlightened me on the band recently and I can’t get enough…get involved- [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Tweet

Welcome to The Chuckness

Welcome to The Chuckness.   My name is Chuck.   Over the past few years I’ve realized that I have a gift.  Simply put, that gift is the sole possession of the greatest musical taste of all time.
