Farva’s Clone Discovered In Baltimore

Posted on September 30, 2009 at 6:52 pm in

Caught this on Barstool NY today and it blew my mind.  This cop’s resemblance to Farva from Super Troopers is absolutely uncanny.  Everything he does is a clone of Farva’s personality.  ”First of all you disrespected me, this badge, and my department.”  Guaranteed everybody in his department rips on him 24/7.

Poor skater kids had no idea what the hell was going on, they were just trying to do some Christ Air’s off the steps.

J. Cole – Lights Please

Posted on September 30, 2009 at 6:09 pm in

J. Cole is an up-and-comer who’s the first artist to sign to Jay-Z’s new label Roc Nation.  He was signed immediately after Jay-Z heard this track, and then later featured on The Blueprint 3…not a bad year for him-

Throwback Jam of the Week: Hall & Oates – You Make My Dreams

Posted on September 29, 2009 at 6:50 pm in

Take a good look at these legends.

The ‘Throwback Jam of the Week’ comes from the 70’s/80’s all-star duo Hall & Oates.  I heard “You Make My Dreams” in a movie recently and I’ve been hooked.  Right when it’s over you find yourself playing it again; I really don’t think it’s possible to listen to this and not be the happiest person ever.

New Cast Member Jenny Slate Drops F-Bomb on SNL

Posted on September 28, 2009 at 4:52 pm in

Ah too bad.  Jenny was a little too excited about her first SNL show, got carried away during her skit, and dropped a casual f-bomb on live TV.  Not really the way she wanted to start off her SNL career, but she’ll get over it-

Birdman (feat. Drake & Lil Wayne) – Money To Blow

New track that’ll be featured on Birdman’s upcoming album, Priceless.  Real original lyrics about spending a ton of money…for some reason it’s on repeat though-

Damien Walters, What Are You?

Posted on September 27, 2009 at 8:39 pm in

Meet Damien Walters, 100% freakshow.  The guy looks like he came straight out of a shitty, over-the-top Jerry Bruckheimer movie…except there aren’t any special effects here.  He’s just casually strolling around his city, doing backflips over bridges for fun.  Next time you’re planning a heist of some kind, I’m pretty sure it’d be a good call to have Walters on your squad.  I’m not really sure why… but the backflips, wall-climbing and absurd car entries have to be good for something.

Miike Snow – Black and Blue

Posted on September 27, 2009 at 6:31 pm in

Miike Snow (no it’s not a typo) is a Swedish indie-rock band that’s been receiving a significant amount of praise lately from people all over the music industry.  Their self-titled debut album was released earlier this year…props to Fell for enlightening me.  Check out “Black and Blue”:
