this is not new, but very interesting nonetheless. interesting because it seems so rare and difficult to apply a different genre to an existing song. i feel like there’s at least a 98% chance of failure. that said, i’m not a very big lil’ wayne fan, and i definitely do not like his track “lollipop.” then framing hanley came along, turned a rap song into a punk/emo song, and now i’m a huge fan. check it out below.
