A couple months ago, Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang (who we’re talking about a lot lately) released The Xaphoon Jones Mixtape Vol 1, an independent effort.  It’s filled with both creative mashups and original material…and in case you let it slip by, here are two standout tracks that brilliantly blend together entirely different songs.  There’s no way in hell Radiohead’s “Reckoner” and Kanye’s “Touch the Sky” should have anything to do with each other, yet Xaphoon seamlessly fuses the two into one.  The production throughout the whole mixtape is outrageous… download it in it’s entirety HERE. The Gladiator’s Oath: “I will endure to be burned, to be bound, to be beaten, and to be killed by the sword” Whoa. I just caught this trailer after watching Stepbrothers for the 17th time on Starz. I recognized a few faces in that trailer: the messenger from 300 who gets kicked into the pit by Leonidas; that little bitch dude from The Mummy series who’s awkwardly funny; and last but not least our old friend Xena: Warrior Princess.
