
After listening to “The Thrill” from Burn After Rolling roughly 20 times in a row, I went on a mission to discover some of Wiz Khalifa’s other material. I think I’m way behind the game on this dude, but regardless, in my travels I came across his first single, “Say Yeah”, which samples 1999′s techno anthem, “Better Off Alone”. Maybe you don’t know it by name, but I guarantee by the first 3 seconds, you can remember blasting this sample in 6th grade…or whatever grade you were in in 1999, you can do the math. Definitely gonna be on the lookout for this guy from now on.
