I’d like to introduce you to Throwback Thursday. Why? Because we believe that as important as it is to promote and search for the freshest jams out there, it’s important to come back to our roots from time to time – recognize the songs and artists that have shaped our musical taste. And also because the alliteration is undeniable.
This week I pay tribute to Jurassic 5. There is not another musical group in existence with as much rhythm as these guys. Sure, they have rhythm individually, but what’s most impressive is their collective rhythm. Every track they put out is original and unique. I’ll give you a little sample right here, but I strongly encourage you to check out their LP, Quality Control, Power in Numbers, and Feedback.
