MA MEN: Massholes

MA Men from Joey McIntyre EPIC. I saw this video for the first time this morning and it fucking kills me every time. Tweet

Throwback Thursday – 1/7/2010 Edition

Ginuwine – Pony (1993) After a holiday hiatus, I was back to digging through the archives today looking for any jams that were worthy of an appearance on Throwback Thursday.  Ginuwine’s “Pony” was staring me right in the face, and I couldn’t resist.  Recorded in 1993, this jam’s beat, which pretty much consists of robotic belches, finds a way to be pure dynamite.  On top of that, the lyrics consist of Ginuwine referring to his manhood as his “pony”…and yet the jam is still fire.  It’s just one of those beats that when dropped, immediately Houdini’s everyone’s clothes away.  I … Continue reading

Kevin Rudolf feat. Birdman, Lil Wayne & Jay Sean – I Made It

Found this song this morning on Nah Right, and I was very surprised at how good it is.  Kevin Rudolf and Jay Sean both seemed like one hit wonders to me (the jury is still out) but I have found myself listening to this all morning. Best Fails of 2009

I live for this (minus the weird techno music. Though I do live for techno music as well, just not this techno music). Tweet

Best John Mayer Fan Ever

So as I was cruising through Barstool’s Top 100 Videos of the Decade post a couple days back, I noticed how absurdly short my attention span is.  Literally any video over 30 seconds I refused to waste my time on.  The funniest shit ever could have slipped through my fingers, but if it was over 30 seconds there was no way in hell I was making it through the whole thing.  Thus, I stumbled across this 9 second GEM of a video on the Stool that gets better with every play.  Short and simple; the only way I can watch. … Continue reading

araabMUZIK is Ridiculous

I usually do not pay much attention to videos containing stuff about artists or producers I have never heard of, but for some reason I watched this one posted on Nah Right.  The producers name is araabMUZIK and watching him chop up these songs is crazy.  My favorite is when he starts to tweak the DJ Shadow song “Building Steam With a Grain of Salt” at 1:48. Citizen Cope – Healing Hands

It’s been a while since I’ve heard anything new from this guy.  Here’s a new jam from an old favorite of mine, Citizen Cope.  I’ve always loved this guy’s music, he just comes off smooth as hell; the definition of laid back.  His fourth official release, entitled The Rainwater LP, is dropping Feb. 9th; be sure to pick it up.  Spotted over at P&P. Is KFC Racist?

KFC Australia gets a little racist with this commercial. I’m pretty sure they didn’t want this being released for the general public to see. Tweet

The Incomparable Shakespeare – Hometown (feat. Adele)

I’ve been listening to this track for a couple weeks now, off The Incomparable Shakespeare’s The British Invasion mixtape, and figured I’d share it with you all.  If you’ve heard the original version of “Hometown Glory” by Adele, it’s an incredibly soft song…it’s just her singing over the piano.  What he does with this beat is unreal, I never thought it’d be possible to turn an Adele jam into a banger like this.  If you haven’t picked up the mixtape, do so HERE. It’s definitely a different kind of project, and it’s absolutely worth picking up.  With samples from Oasis, … Continue reading
