I just 100% passed out to this jam with my Dres on, and woke up in a panic to Andrew WK’s “Party Hard” from the Coors Light commercial like 8 years ago. Fuck. Andrew WK just happens to be relatively close to Aloe Blacc in the alphabetically organized iTunes. If you don’t know how loud and obnoxious that jam is, then you don’t understand what I just went through.
Anyways, “Femme Fatale” is off of Aloe Blacc’s upcoming album Good Things, and it’s got an attractive old-school feel to it. Some Temptations mixed in with Boyz II Men maybe? That could be forced on my part. Regardless, it’s a soothing track that’ll do good things for you if you’re looking to wind down.
