So I was skimming through my iTunes library today and I came across this SAVOY EP that I downloaded when it came out in July but for some reason never listened to it.  I posted some other songs from the group a while ago, but this EP is definitely the most solid work I have heard from them.  This group has a great live show and the band consists of two DJs and a drummer (who kills it) that all went to University of Colorado at Boulder.  SAVOY is starting to build a pretty decent fan base but they are huge in Boulder.  They have a  show coming up here in Boulder in November but the tickets sold out within a couple days of coming out and I was not able to get my hands on them.  I have seen them live a couple times already and if you get a chance to I highly recommend it.

Back to the music, this EP features remixes of No Doubt, Dire Straights, Santigold, and a crazy throwback jam from Soul II Soul.  Some of the songs take a minute or two to build up, but that is necessary for some electro tracks. Here are my favorites from the EP:
