Meet Justin Jones, an acoustic singer/song-writer coming out of Charlottesville, VA. I just discovered him via a random promo email, and decided to check out what kind of music he was putting out there. Risky move on my part, as a solid 63% of shit that gets sent to my inbox is horrifyingly terrible. There are your gems in there for sure, but you have to scour a bit. Anyways, as I hit this acoustic songwriter’s website, creatively titled justin-jones.com, his track “Little Fox” started playing immediately, and it struck a chord with me. Long story short, I got a hold of Justin’s EP (also titled Little Fox…pick it up here), and I’ve been blown away by his sound. Just a relaxing, mind-calming style of music that’s perfect to wind down to. Hit “Little Fox”  below for a taste.

SO, here comes the punchline. I was kindly given the opportunity to dish out a pair of free tickets to Justin’s concert at The Paradise Rock Club up here in Boston (huge thanks to Drew over at Cornerstone Promotion for making this happen). He’s playing with Badly Drawn Boy on Wednesday, December 1st, and the doors open up around 7 pm. The show is 18+, so none of you tween fans allowed. I’ll be in attendance as well so we can kick it if you win and aren’t a total creep.
