When I scripted today, I didn’t picture me spending time getting into a female rapper. Just wasn’t in the cards. Well that’s changed. ”So Fast, So Maybe” is pretty much owning me right now. I came across it roughly an hour ago, and for a reason unknown my iTunes repeat button is now permanently stuck.
Let me introduce you to her real quick via bullet points:
- K. Flay is 24 year-old Kristine Flaherty
- She’s a Stanford graduate
- She spits fireflames
Her songs are this completely bizarre blend of genres; but it’s working for me today. I don’t know, I could see someone like this exploding on the scene. Unique and refreshing is always good. I’m curious what you think about this one.
