Alan Wilkis has been all over the interwebs for a minute now, making a name for himself through his attention-grabbing remixes. This one here is an original production, and he recruits the vocal help from The KickDrums’ Alex Fitts.
I’m always excited when I hear something that is noticeably attempting to form it’s own path in the music world; this sounds like nothing I’ve heard before. The vocals fit perfectly on top of Wilkis’ heavy synths and drums; to the point where I find myself continually hitting the repeat button. Definitely worth a look.
