Diplo hasn’t made a solo album since 2004′s Florida. This is not to be mistaken for another way of saying he’s done nothing since ’04. Since then, he’s been producing tracks for any and every artist you can think of, on top of procuring a massively successful DJ tour. Oh, and he runs his own record label (Mad Decent.) Somehow he’s found time to be working on his next solo album, which is self-described as ”psychedelic Southern gospel.” Take a listen to the new single off the project below; I’d say the genre sounds about right.
