Jez Dior hails from Los Angeles, and “Candles” serves as my introduction to him. Gonna go on the record and say this is one of the better introductions I’ve had to a new artist in a bit. The dude is 20 years old, and has a distinct voice that captivates you from the get-go. The production is creative as hell, featuring a sample from Daughters’ “Candles.” Stay on the lookout for Jez’s upcoming mixtape Scarlett Sage.
