A BBC radio rip recently surfaced featuring Diplo’s earth-shattering remix of Calvin Harris and Florence Welch’s hit “Sweet Nothing.” First off, Diplo is, and has been, hands down one of the most versatile producers in music. Guy has his hands in EVERYTHING. People still love to label music as a specific, niched genre — and Diplo’s one of few who manages to not be held by these labels/restrictions. Also, while we’re on the subject of genres — trap remixes are found everywhere I turn. I’m convinced that a trap remix exists for 90% of available music in today’s day and age. Let’s test this theory.
