On November 2, RZA is making his film directorial debut via a martial arts film (what?) titled The Man With The Iron Fists, produced by Quentin Tarantino. There are several things worth noting here — primarily how the hell RZA has any form of martial arts knowledge. Secondly, I’d love to know how he enlisted Quentin Tarantino and Russell Crowe to help out. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, I would like to know how, in the name of all that is holy, he convinced Universal Pictures to give him a $20 million budget for his martial arts film. Maybe everything about it is going to be awesome and I’m entirely mistaken — but at the moment I just can’t fathom how a member of Wu Tang Clan is directing a martial arts blockbuster.

Anyways, the soundtrack is supposedly off the chain — and the first track to surface is this new Kanye release, which may/may not be about Kim Kardashian. That aside, the soulful production should bring you back to Kanye circa early 2004. Stream below.
