Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune Radio

Late last week Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia debuted his Podcast Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune Radio. To put it simply, it’s incredible. It’s 60 minutes of old, new, and unreleased audible fire. Highlights include “In My Mind (Axwell Mix)”; Alesso’s “Raise Your Head”; Tommy Trash’s take on “Antidote”; the Swedish House Mafia remix of “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall”; the list goes on and on. Subscribe to the Podcast here so you can keep an eye out for the next installment, which should drop on March 1 according to Seb. Tracklist after the jump. Rusko – Somebody to Love

Rusko officially released his new single “Somebody to Love” from his upcoming album Songs in stores today. It just has that classic Rusko vibe that we all love – no two ways around it. Great vocals, catchy piano intro, and that signature Rusko drop. Just enough womp to satisfy seasoned dubsteppers but it’s not overkill. As a bonus, the single includes the Sigma remix of “Somebody to Love”. Pick up the single on Amazon or on iTunes. Zeds Dead – The Adrenaline EP

My favorite dubstep duo, Zeds Dead, recently announced the release of their Adrenaline EP due out on January 23. The EP is scheduled to include four tracks, three of which are staples in my music library: 1. In the Beginning 2. Adrenaline 3. Hit Me 4. Oh No If you’re an avid fan of DC and Hooks like myself then you’ve probably heard most of the material. For those concerned that there are only four tracks, Zeds Dead says “don’t worry”. For everyone who’s concerned about there only being 4 tracks on this EP don’t worry. We have been hard … Continue reading

Mord Fustang – We Are Now Connected

Got a little preview of Mord Fustang’s new jam here. He posted the song three hours ago on SoundCloud and it’s pushing 15,000 plays. Not too shabby. No surprises here from Mord. He’s true to his signature sound and delivers another catchy beat. Mord Fustang – We Are Now Connected by Mord Fustang Tweet

Volta Bureau – Alley Cat

Just caught this gem on Turntable. It’s not new, but damn is it smooth. Incredibly smooth. I’m a sucker for any song that incorporates a piano and Volta Bureau nailed it on this one. The song builds up to the 1:48 mark with an awesome bassline and some violin, then everything cuts out and they drop the piano riff. Volta Bureau is a trio out of DC making electronic music – you can check out their SoundCloud page here. If you happen to live in DC, please check out their show tomorrow night and let us know how it is. … Continue reading

Zeds Dead – Ruckus The Jam

Zeds Dead officially dropped “Ruckus The Jam” a couple days ago on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label, and it’s absolutely killer. I heard it featured it on at least one mix, but they didn’t release it as a single until Tuesday. The Canadian duo has yet to produce a song I don’t love, and “Ruckus The Jam” is no exception. The song just has incredible anatomy (did I just coin song anatomy?). It’s got a smooth build up, drops hard with plenty of energy, builds up again, then drops even harder. If you like what you hear, I highly advise … Continue reading

David Guetta – Titanium (Alesso Remix) (Full Version)

Could this be the full version? Because to me it just sounds like the preview looped twice. If that’s the case, why even release the preview? I’m confused. If you haven’t heard it yet, don’t let my disappointment discourage you. It’s still a sweet jam. Just… repetitive. Deadmau5 Announces Las Vegas Residency

Rolling Stone – Electronic music superstar Deadmau5 has signed on with XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club for an exclusive yearlong Las Vegas residency at the clubs beginning on January 2, 2012. “I love that Vegas is really embracing electronic music as their staple entertainment,” says Deadmau5, who played several shows at the Wynn Las Vegas resort venues last year. “All of the Sinatras and Rat Packs are now DJs. I’ve heard Vegas is going to be the next Ibiza, but it’s its own thing. Here it’s all about flash and show and lights.” In this trailer for the residency, … Continue reading

Avicii – Don’t Give Up On Us (Enough Is Enough) (Aylen & ThatMoment Remix)

Aylen and ThatMoment are a couple amateur DJs/producers out of New Jersey with veteran sound. They’re able to give this track a nice dubstep feel while honoring the original version of Avicii’s “Don’t Give Up On Us”. They didn’t just squeeze in as many WOMPS as possible and call it a dubstep remix, as it seems so many amateur producers are prone to do. Give it a spin.
