Chiddy Bang Album Pushed Back to 2011, Mini-Album In October

Ahh, we all saw this coming. Alright maybe not all of us, but we knew it was in the works. When we asked Chiddy when the album was dropping a couple weeks ago, he smirked and said he didn’t know. Apparently they’re working out the final kinks, and while it was originally supposed to come out this August, it’s been pushed back to early next year. To hold the die-hard fans over, they’re releasing a “mini-album” in October. Hit the description from PMA below for more details. “Chiddy Bang’s debut album, The Swelly Life has officially been pushed back to … Continue reading

The Chuckness 2.0

First off, the above graphic is entirely unnecessary.  I just like pretending that I’m nice with Photoshop.  Secondly, you all probably tweaked out when you woke up this morning, went to your favorite website of all time, and realized that SHIT WAS DIFFERENT.  EB and I did some talking this past week while on our annual vacation in Maine, we phone conferenced Jimbo in, and concluded that a move needed to be made. It’s been about a year since the thought of the The Chuckness first sparked, and on the anniversary of such a momentous date, it’s only right to … Continue reading

The Chill Tunes Cooler: Get Your Hands On One

It’s mid-July.  It’s hot as balls everywhere you go.  Thus, our friends over at Chill Tunes decided to come up with arguably the most revolutionary device of our generation: The Chill Tunes Cooler.  Don’t get me wrong, the idea’s been done before.  Combining speakers and beers into one product has been attempted, but has it ever been perfected?  Not until Chill Tunes.  Budweiser tried to do it, but the speaker system could barely contain Celine Dion before blowing out. Other companies attempted, and while their speaker system was decent, they could hold a six-pack at best. This beast of a … Continue reading

*The Roots & Eminem CD’s*

Today was a good day for me in terms of music, I got my ass out of the office for a little bit and went to pick up Eminem’s Recovery and The Roots’ album How I Got Over. Both albums are incredible to me and it reminds me of why we should continue to support good music.  I do not want to sound like I am trying make a judgment on anyones decision to purchase or download, but these projects are both incredible.  I was thinking after looking at my receipt for $19.94 at how cheap a physical CD actually … Continue reading

They’re making Titanic 2

Yup. It’s real. They’re even reporting it on IMDB. I can’t believe it either. They’re totally disgracing the first movie I saw with boobs in it. I’m still not sure how they managed to retain the PG-13 rating on that flick – it was a lot of full on boob for a 13-year-old. The tag line is “100 years later, lightning strikes twice.” Check out this stunning plot: On the 100th anniversary of the original voyage, a modern luxury liner christened “Titanic 2,” follows the path of its namesake. But when a tsunami hurls an ice berg into the new … Continue reading

Random Thoughts on the Music Industry

I was just on my Sunday morning/afternoon run to Dunkie’s for a nice sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, when something hit me.  I hopped in my Chevy Malibu, and Chiddy Bang’s “The Opposite of Adults (Kids)” was blasting out of my car’s speakers.  I didn’t think twice about it at first, as this scenario has been a common occurrence for months now.  Jump in the car, throw some Chiddy Bang on the iPod, and go to Dunkin’ Donuts…it’s been nearly routine.  But then I looked down and saw that my iPod wasn’t connected; in fact it wasn’t even in … Continue reading

Whoa.

I’ll let you spend all day guessing who this is.  Unlimited guesses.  You have no chance.  Here’s another photo to help you out. 50 Cent.  No fucking way.  Apparently he dropped from 214 pounds to a ridiculous 160 for an upcoming role in Things Fall Apart as a football player diagnosed with cancer.  Christ.  Make it stop.

Maestro Knows

MAESTRO ON DRUMS from TONE on Vimeo. So I have been watching this online show called Maestro Knows very consistently over the past year and I always just thought they were pretty cool videos of an inspiring young dude living his day to day life.  But Maestro has been blowing up lately and this video here displays a point that not many people ever get to in their lives.  Authenticity is everything…. I do not want to get all philosophical and deep with yall because this is not the platform to do so, but check out this video and Maestro’s … Continue reading

The Gus Johnson Soundboard at GusJohnsonGetsBuckets.com

A couple days after my Ode to Gus Johnson, this official soundboard came across my way and changed my life.  Props to Billy Lamps for the find. It might even rival the Jersey Shore soundboard for the best of all time.
