Dear Adidas, I want to be cool like Wayne and rock fucking teddy bears on my sneakers. Please send me a free pair to promote your new line, and I will stomp all over Boston with these sick bear-kicks. I promise to do you proud. That is all. Love, Chuck Oh and if anyone has a relative that works at Adidas, please let me know. No but seriously. Tweet
I’ve had several requests for official Chuckness merchandise, and yesterday we’ve made our first step towards that goal. Just in time to wear for the holiday season, I now have a limited quantity of orange and blue official Chuckness tees available to dish out to you all. They’re tagless (only peasants wear shirts with tags these days), so they’re absurdly comfortable. Not to mention the fact that you feel exponentially cooler with one of these on your back. Hit “Read More” for front and back photos… Then head over to the official store (either from the top menu, or just … Continue reading
A lot’s been happening these past few weeks at The Chuckness, and I felt the need for one giant post to catch you all up on where we stand. I’ve been feeling musically cluttered the past few days; with songs randomly scoured throughout my computer. You know that feeling when your apartment is a complete disaster, and you’re looking for something…but the warzone that is your pad gets you so distracted that you forget what the hell you’re looking for in the first place? That’s what I feel like, but musically. I’ve got more music than I can handle, it’s … Continue reading
Ahh, we all saw this coming. Alright maybe not all of us, but we knew it was in the works. When we asked Chiddy when the album was dropping a couple weeks ago, he smirked and said he didn’t know. Apparently they’re working out the final kinks, and while it was originally supposed to come out this August, it’s been pushed back to early next year. To hold the die-hard fans over, they’re releasing a “mini-album” in October. Hit the description from PMA below for more details. “Chiddy Bang’s debut album, The Swelly Life has officially been pushed back to … Continue reading
First off, the above graphic is entirely unnecessary. I just like pretending that I’m nice with Photoshop. Secondly, you all probably tweaked out when you woke up this morning, went to your favorite website of all time, and realized that SHIT WAS DIFFERENT. EB and I did some talking this past week while on our annual vacation in Maine, we phone conferenced Jimbo in, and concluded that a move needed to be made. It’s been about a year since the thought of the The Chuckness first sparked, and on the anniversary of such a momentous date, it’s only right to … Continue reading
It’s mid-July. It’s hot as balls everywhere you go. Thus, our friends over at Chill Tunes decided to come up with arguably the most revolutionary device of our generation: The Chill Tunes Cooler. Don’t get me wrong, the idea’s been done before. Combining speakers and beers into one product has been attempted, but has it ever been perfected? Not until Chill Tunes. Budweiser tried to do it, but the speaker system could barely contain Celine Dion before blowing out. Other companies attempted, and while their speaker system was decent, they could hold a six-pack at best. This beast of a … Continue reading
Today was a good day for me in terms of music, I got my ass out of the office for a little bit and went to pick up Eminem’s Recovery and The Roots’ album How I Got Over. Both albums are incredible to me and it reminds me of why we should continue to support good music. I do not want to sound like I am trying make a judgment on anyones decision to purchase or download, but these projects are both incredible. I was thinking after looking at my receipt for $19.94 at how cheap a physical CD actually … Continue reading
Yup. It’s real. They’re even reporting it on IMDB. I can’t believe it either. They’re totally disgracing the first movie I saw with boobs in it. I’m still not sure how they managed to retain the PG-13 rating on that flick – it was a lot of full on boob for a 13-year-old. The tag line is “100 years later, lightning strikes twice.” Check out this stunning plot: On the 100th anniversary of the original voyage, a modern luxury liner christened “Titanic 2,” follows the path of its namesake. But when a tsunami hurls an ice berg into the new … Continue reading
I was just on my Sunday morning/afternoon run to Dunkie’s for a nice sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, when something hit me. I hopped in my Chevy Malibu, and Chiddy Bang’s “The Opposite of Adults (Kids)” was blasting out of my car’s speakers. I didn’t think twice about it at first, as this scenario has been a common occurrence for months now. Jump in the car, throw some Chiddy Bang on the iPod, and go to Dunkin’ Donuts…it’s been nearly routine. But then I looked down and saw that my iPod wasn’t connected; in fact it wasn’t even in … Continue reading
