Gonna go ahead and continue to nurture the college demographic here. Mike Posner’s upcoming mixtape The Layover is due out November 20th, and he gave us a sneak peak of the Elton John-inspired “Rocket Man” today. I ran across this song the other day on 2dopeboyz and this producer is crazy.  The song features Bun B, Colin Munroe, and Wale over a very smooth jazzy beat and a positive, uplifting message.  Statik Selektah originates from Boston, MA and he is definitely a producer to look out for in Hip-Hop.  His album, 100 Proof, drops on February 2nd so definitely be on the look out.  Here is a video with some pretty hefty co-signs from some of Hip-Hop’s greatest: Download: Statik Selektah- So Close, So Far (Feat.
