Chiddy Bang (feat. The Knocks) – When You’ve Got Music

Chiddy Bang’s upcoming mixtape Peanut Butter & Swelly drops this Friday, and they’ve decided to release a new track everyday until then. While I can’t hate getting new music from them — I kind of enjoy getting a ton of new material at once and sifting through it…but no complaints. The first release features The Knocks’ “Make It Better”, and it definitely lives up to my expectations. Check back here everyday this week for their daily release. Chiddy Bang (feat. Mac Miller) – Heatwave

A classic Xaphoon Jones sample right here. It’s good to see Chiddy Bang collaborating with other up and comers in the game as well; lovin the Mac Miller feature. Keep your eyes open for the Philly duo’s debut album Breakfast this summer. They’ll be everywhere after that drops; it’ll be borderline impossible to escape their sound. Stream and download below. Xaphoon Jones Mixtape Vol. 2

After first getting word of this over a month ago, I’ve been trying to keep myself occupied with other activities until it’s release. Well here we are on the first day of April, and what a gift we have in store. Xaphoon Jones, arguably my favorite up and coming producer in the game today, and 1/2 of Chiddy Bang, just released the second installment in his personal mixtape series. I haven’t listened to it all the way through yet, but given his resume, it’s bound to be pure, unadulterated audio gold. I figure I’m better off sharing it with you … Continue reading

Chiddy Bang – Baby Roulette (feat. Train)

I’m liking this trend. Another fresh leak from Chiddy Bang this week, like “Rebel”, this is another song that won’t make it on the debut album The Swelly Life. It’s got the basic formula that we’ve all grown accustomed to from this duo; dynamite production from Xaphoon Jones, and some witty flow by Chiddy. I initially thought that this was a Train sample…but in reality it’s an actual feature by them. Can’t say I could’ve called Train and Chiddy Bang hitting the studio together. It works though, primarily because anything Xaphoon touches is gold. Hit the stream and download below. … Continue reading

Chiddy Bang – Rebel

Chiddy Bang decided to release this track today to celebrate Xaphoon hitting 10k followers on Twitter.  I believe the track is just off a demo and one that won’t feature on their debut album, The Swelly Life.  Either way, I’m loving the sample on this one… Xaphoon’s production just keeps getting better and better. Big Sean Feat. Chiddy Bang- Too Fake (Video)

Here is the visual for the song that Chiddy Bang and Big Sean did for Finally Famous 3.  This beat is crazy and easily one of my favorite songs by Big Sean. Tweet

Chiddy Bang’s Mini-Album “The Preview” Out Today

Philly based hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang dropped their first official release today, a mini-album titled The Preview. The nine track EP features five or six entirely new tracks that you’ve never heard before, and a couple of the songs that got them to where they are today (“The Opposite of Adults”, “All Things Go”, etc.) The new music is made up of Xaphoon Jones’ uncanny beats and Chiddy’s witty rhymes that we’ve all gotten used to, with a couple of popular features sprinkled on top (Pharrell and Q-Tip).  I’ve included a stream of “Bad Day” and “Old Ways” below (two … Continue reading
