Rebstar (feat. Drake and Rock City) – Good Life

Rebstar is a 22 year-old Swedish rapper looking to make it on the grid; and he’s enlisted the help of Drake and Rock City to help him out. Not a bad move if you’re trying to get some exposure. I like the sound of this one — could definitely see it gaining some steam in the States. Maybe have him do a little collabo with fellow Swedes Miike Snow? That might get too crazy. Hit the stream and download below, and let me know what you think of this one. [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Download: Rebstar (feat. Drake … Continue reading

Drake – Marvin’s Room

Drake just released a second track off his upcoming sophomore album, Take Care. “Marvin’s Room” is definitely more R&B focused, as was the majority of his first album, but it’s got a good sound to it. This one’s produced by his best friend/primary producer 40; and you can tell right off the bat. Hit the stream and download below, and look for his album to drop come October. SBTRKT (feat. Little Dragon & Drake) – Wildfire (Remix)

Annnnd more Drake for the day. After laying low for a while, he seems to be back in the sharing mode again. He just jumped on SBTRKT’s “Wildfire” beat and dropped a verse for the official remix, which also features indie band Little Dragon. I could get into this one. Check it out for yourself below. Drake – Dreams Money Can Buy

Drake just unleashed his first taste off his upcoming album, Take Care, sampling Jai Paul. You can definitely tell this one has his main producer/best friend 40 behind it; it’s got that token sound that was found throughout Thank Me Later.  Keep an eye out for his sophomore album which is slated for a September release. What do we think? [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Download: Drake – Dreams Money Can Buy Tweet

DJ Khaled (feat. Lil Wayne, Drake & Rick Ross) – I’m On One

DJ Khaled is known for yelling his name obnoxiously throughout anything and everything he’s associated with. For a reason unknown, he seems to have turned over a new leaf with his latest track, as he’s eerily silent with the exception of one “DJ KHALED!!!” outburst in the beginning. I’m not sure how he can label this as his track, as he’s not rapping and he didn’t make the beat, but it’s cool. Off his upcoming album We The Best Forever — hit the download below. Kanye West (feat. Lil Wayne, Drake & Big Sean) – All Of The Lights (Remix)

In the middle of my first listen on this one, and figured I should just get it out to the people. Star-studded remix right here. Apparently this is a rough draft of the official remix to come; so stay tuned. Oh, and that was post # 1,000. Thanks for sticking with me. Big things coming. The Friendly Giant – Forever (Drake/Jack Johnson)

It should be illegal to post any more “Forever” mashups, but I can’t help it here. The Friendly Giant decided to brilliantly lay over the vocals from “Forever” on top of Jack Johnson’s “If I Had Eyes”, and I’m into it. Just a flawless fusion. Give it a listen below. Mochi Beats – Money To Brightside (The Killers/Lil Wayne/Drake)

Mochi Beats you know what you’re doing, you really do. Take The Killers, add some Wayne and some Drake, and you should have a musical massacre. In this case though, Mochi Beats messes with the tempos and smooths everything out to work perfectly. Off of SITR’s Welcome Back Weezy mixtape. Rihanna (Feat. Drake)- What’s My Name

I’m not sure how I feel about myself posting this song but I’m over it… I have no shame if the music sounds good.  Drake recently referenced doing a song with Rihanna, and he wasn’t sure if it would ever see the light of day.  I believe this is the finished product.  Enjoy… [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Download: Rihanna (Feat. Video: Rick Ross ft. Chrisette Michele & Drake – Aston Martin Music

I love this song.  I have always been a fan of Rick Ross no matter what anyone’s opinion of that may be.  Drake’s extended verse in the video is very dope as well.  Enjoy… Tweet
