A completely different look and feel right here from Cudi. It’s been said that he’s sick of the rap game and is trying to branch out into different genres of music. I found this gem the other day on Hype Machine and it comes from DJ Dizzy, who is someone I know nothing about.  However, the guy fuses Biggie’s “Juicy” with Aloe Blacc’s hit from the How To Make It in America intro perfectly….Enjoy. It was only a matter of time until I came across a remix of the How to Make it in America theme that I actually enjoyed.   Marky leaves the beat the way it is, adds his own verses, and turns this into a certified jam.  Still don’t know what I feel about this show though.  Just seems like a painfully forced version of Entourage with characters that are nowhere near as cool as Ari or Bob Saget playing himself (“Don’t you fuck my daughter Vince”).  Regardless, this jam is nice. This song is the theme song for HBO’s new show How To Make It In America and is also the lead single off of the artist Aloe Blacc’s forthcoming album, Good Things. The song was stuck in my head for days the first time I watched the show so I had to find the track and get it on my Ipod.  The song fits perfect with the concept of the HBO show as well.
