Whenever a hip-hop artist attempts to make a “rock” album, the shit sucks. That’s a proven fact. We’re lucky then that I can’t really consider Kid Cudi to be a “rapper”. He’s always been too spacey and weird to be contained in a stereotypical genre like that. The uneducated say that his upcoming WZRD album is him attempting to go the rock route — but again, he’s too bizarre to just attempt a rock album.
