Mac Miller walks a fine line. On one side is the well-respected, elite hip-hop world, on the other is the land of aggravating, mind-numbing frat rap. So far, Mac’s managed to establish himself as more than a legitimate hip-hop artist, his absurdly loyal fan base is the number one testament to that. Mac Miller’s debut album is about to hit shelves, and he’s let go another cut off the project to hold us over until November 8th. I’m pretty hit or miss with the PA native, but this one hits me the right way. Either way, you gotta respect what he’s accomplished. Mac Miller’s debut album is due out November 8th — and he made a deal with his fans that if he sold 25,000 pre-orders, he’d drop the title track for free. So that’s what we have here. If he sells 50,000 pre-orders, he’ll donate $50,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and if he sells 100,000 pre-orders, he’s dropping the album immediately (before the release date). The legendary producer by the name of 9th Wonder just unleashed a track off of his upcoming album The Wonder Years, which drops this Tuesday. Mac Miller delivers a couple of verses over the soulful beat, and Heather Victoria adds in some “oohs and ahhs” for the crowd. I dig. This is the kind of thing that has led to Mac Miller’s unbelievably huge following. The creativity behind this video is second to none, and it’s awesome to see people still putting thought into the visuals of their music. You really can’t go wrong with the home video route. On top of that, it fits perfectly with arguably my favorite track off of his last mixtape. Tweet

Here’s a new collaboration between up and comers Mac Miller and Chiddy. It’s unusual to see Chiddy record anything without being next to Xaphoon Jones, but apparently this beat comes from elsewhere. Regardless, this should be getting significant play from me this week, even with the incredibly out of place gunshots at the 2:11 mark.
