The other day I was walking on my way home, and I hear this bro CRANKING “Sleepyhead” in his drop-top convertible. Just complete disregard for anything and everything around him. Passion Pit released this new cut for the new American Express ZYNC holiday campaign. It’s a Christmas inspired track, and you’re probably all sick of holiday music by now, but don’t let that turn you away. A little electro-Christmas jam never hurt anybody. Passion Pit’s been on fire with their random covers recently.  Here’s their latest, as they go ahead and put their own unique spin on Smashing Pumpkins’ anthem “Tonight, Tonight”.  I always was a fan of the original, and being way into Passion Pit, this track is a win-win for me.  Give it a spin, and do a little search for the band on our site here if you want to see some of their past remixes/covers. I’m all over this track remixed by Brenton Duvall until Trina jumps in.  The first minute I thought it was the pinnacle of mash-ups; my ears were so fired up.  Then Trina jumps in and just completely slaughters my vibe.  Granted it’s her song with a feature by Weezy, but it just got me thinking how sweet it would’ve been without her.  Still worth a spin… maybe a small percentage of our followers are huge Trina fans and will think this is the best shit ever.  Spotted @ P&P.
