Timbaland feat. Justin Timberlake- Carry Out (Aviators Remix)
I saw this song a couple days ago on True To Sound but just kind of skipped over it because I am not a fan of the original version. But today I decided to give it a shot and it is pretty dope. I have never heard of Aviators before but this remix sounds super good.

K’naan – Wavin’ Flag (Celebration Remix)
K’naan is one of the more underrated artists out there, and he finally got a huge break that should give him the worldwide praise he deserves. “Wavin’ Flag” off of his latest, unbelievable album Troubador, has been selected as the official anthem of the 2010 World Cup. So naturally, he beefed up the song a bit to fit the soccer world’s needs, and it will serve as the official jam for the CocaCola/World Cup campaign. It was an amazing song before and the re-worked version is just as good. Check it out-

Yeasayer – Ambling Alp (Alan Wilkis Remix)
Here’s a smooth remix to Yeasayer’s “Ambling Alp”. I was definitely a bit hesitant at first, but I came around after a couple spins. The original was getting abused by me since I first heard it, so this change has done good things for me over here. Give it a go.

Money To Blow (Xaphoon Jones Remix)
The legend behind Chiddy Bang,Xaphoon Jones, is on the scene again with his wild remixes. Here he takes Birdman, Drake & Lil Wayne’s horrendously popular “Money To Blow” and ices it out. As Tow said previously, prepare yourself for Chiddy Bang’s upcoming EP, which drops later this month.

Plasma- Crazy (I’m Not a Band Remix)
This remix, from I’m Not A Band, takes a song from a mysterious indie band named Plasma, and spins it out of control. I have never heard of the group who remixed this, nor the creators of the original song; yet I do know that this is straight fire and it’s been on repeat all day. If Ghostland Observatory met Miike Snow and went on to have a threesome with Passion Pit, the result would be this jam right here.

The xx – VCR (Matthew Dear Remix)
I’m a huge fan of the entire debut album from The xx, and the original being an extremely mellow song I was pretty hesitant to give this a listen. I was afraid it would be an acidic dance remix or something out of control. Matthew Dear definitely pulls it off though, he’s able to give it a little more “oomf” but at the same time keep the relaxed vibe of the original. Definitely well done, check it out.

Dan Black (feat. KiD CuDi) – Symphonies (Remix)
Never heard of Dan Black in my life, but I love this right here. Is that the “Umbrella” beat laced in the background? Who knows… a little British flair in combination with a relaxed Kid Cudi verse is all I need this Monday. Apparently Dan Black is a highly praised British electronica artist, who was a former member of the underachieving band The Servant. (check their gem of a tune at the bottom)
