Miike Snow – Black and Blue

Miike Snow (no it’s not a typo) is a Swedish indie-rock band that’s been receiving a significant amount of praise lately from people all over the music industry. Their self-titled debut album was released earlier this year…props to Fell for enlightening me. Check out “Black and Blue”:

Eels is an American rock band that has a track in virtually every feature film ever made. You might not always notice their songs…but they feature on more soundtracks than you can think of. Road Trip, American Beauty, Knocked Up, Shrek 1, 2, 3, Hot Fuzz…they’re all over the place, yet few know who they are. Educate yourself and check out the feel-good track “Fresh Feeling”, as well as “Hey Man (Now You’re Really Living)” below.
