While Cudi seems poised to give the rock n’ roll route a shot, here we have a previously unreleased track back when he was breaking into the new age hip-hop genre. Apparently “Angels & Demons” was slated to be a cut for his debut album, and was going to feature Clipse. That never came to fruition, so now it’s playing the part of the leftover deli meat in the back of the fridge. Here is an unreleased version of Jay-Z and Mr. Hudson’s smash “Forever Young”, sans Jay-Z.  It’s a rough cut, and don’t get me wrong I love the original, but this isn’t half bad either.  I keep waiting for Jay’s flow to come in, so it’s kind of bizarre when you’re left without it, but I definitely like the vibe that a solo Mr. Hudson brings to the table.  His debut album Straight No Chaser was decent, nothing to write home about.  This right here does good things for me though. Here’s a track that didn’t quite make Miike Snow’s tremendously underrated self-titled release.  Off their B-Sides, this would’ve fit right in with the rest of their studio album…not really sure why it didn’t make the cut.  While their music is all pretty similar, I’m still spinning their album like it’s nobody’s business…and it goes without saying that I was intrigued when some of their unreleased material landed in my hands.  Give it a go.
