I always make myself available when I see a Ratatat sample, regardless of if I know the other artists involved or not.  In this case, I’ve heard absolutely nothing about Justin Taylor, but he managed to get Ratatat to lay down the background for this track so I figured it was worth a listen.  Apparently this kid is 18 and is building up some steam in the underground music world; definitely not a party-starter, and the hopeful, dreamy lyrics are a bit much, but it’s got a relaxed vibe to it.  Worth a listen in my book.  Spotted over at … Continue reading →
